I cannot think of a nicer way to spend a Saturday afternoon than with good friends and good food. Our small ladies' group have been friends for over 30 years and try to meet every other month for a ladies' lunch. We take turns picking a spot and usually pick a place that offers mimosa/champagne. I had the fortunate of picking the restaurant in June. I selected a lovely place on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC called Bodega that had great reviews and offered both indoor and outdoor dining. I was the first to arrive and made an observation of the restaurant before my friends arrived. I wanted to ensure I made a good choice. I was impressed on entering the facility. It was bright and airy with a very efficient welcomer staff. My friends arrived shortly, and we sat inside near the window on tall stools and table.
