Brunch on the Cheap in San Francisco #Sanfrancisco #Diners #Awayfromdowntown #goodfood #affordable

I know you have heard this time and time again.  But get away from all those fancy spots with high prices and questionable service.  Go to the little neighborhood diners that are either open 24 hours or closes at 3pm that serves only breakfast and lunch.  You will thank me.

I have to tell you to be prepared for possible long lines.  But it's worth the wait with a well-equipped menu, fast service, and ...great prices for food and beverages.  I think I hit almost everyone within a 1/2-mile radius of hotel.

The food was so delicious I almost forgot to get pictures.  Sourdough bread comes with most meals as you would expect in San Francisco.  I personally love mimosa with my brunch meals regardless of what I order.  Some places had great mimosa with a twist on the orange juice with mango, peach or another favorite.  They did not disappoint at all.

The food choices were excellent from eggs benedict, pancakes, omelets, burgers, and more.  Since, I am a late riser, I am ready for breakfast food during late morning/early afternoon.  Because they give you so much food, the hardest thing was staying on diet and perhaps eating healthy.  However, I never looked for healthy options.  The best thing for me was the prices.  Most meals were less than $15 with mimosa at $7.  It may change when everything is fully open after the pandemic.  I still think it would be a great deal.
