San Francisco and the IN-N-OUT Burger Experience #Sanfrancisco #IN-N-OUTBurger #healthandwellness
I live in Washington, DC but my dream location has always been San Francisco, CA. I love the weather, water, mountains, and food. It is a great place to maintain your health and wellness with lots of culture, walking, diversity, and education. The only thing I do not like is the cost of living or should I say my inadequate financial situation. Regardless, I visit as much as possible and enjoy each and every moment. Besides riding the street cars as much as possible, my other agenda has been stuffing my face with crabs and sour dough bread. This time I continued my trend but decided to go to IN-N-OUT Burger and see what all the rage is about.
The lines seem to be always long, so I had to go back several times to ensure I got a seat. Frankly, I believe the lines were long because I was on Fisherman's Wharf and all the tourists were doing what I was doing...experimenting. I finally got in and took a seat immediately while my daughter waited in line and ordered our meal. I liked that the prices were reasonable, and the line moved fast given all the people.
After a short wait, our number was called, and the food arrived nicely presented. But would it taste good? Would I be impressed?
I been to many burger places, and I know it is hard to hit all the buttons. The fries were tasteless and terrible. But I am spoiled by Five Guys fries. The burger was basic. It had plenty of fresh ingredients - lettuce, tomato, onions etc. and the bun was nice. However, the burger itself lacked flavor. It was not bad. It just was not good. The staff customer service was outstanding and amplified cleanliness.
I am glad I had the experience. Since it was located in a tourist area, I enjoyed my meal with people visiting from all the country and world. From my observation, everybody seemed happy enjoying the experience.
When I return to San Francisco, IN-N-OUT Burger will not be included on my itinerary. It will not be part of my health and wellness journey I embrace.
