Daughter's Leftovers From Joe's Seafood Primesteak and Stone Crab for lunch
Lunch is my favorite meal. And, I really enjoy leftovers especially from a fine dining restaurant. What makes me more happy is dining from a fine dining restaurant for free thanks to my daughter and her boyfriend. They brought me leftovers!
I set my table at home to dine on my goodies - stuffed shrimp with lemon and melted butter and cream spinach. I was dining alone but I did not need company. I just kicked my shoes off, poured a glass of white wine, and threw down. The meal was fantastic. I have eaten stuffed shrimp many places but I can say this was one of the best especially considering I had to reheat everything. The shrimp was still succulent and tender. The spinach --creamy and flavorful. I was glad I did not have to share.
I never heard of the restaurant before that day. However the memory lives on. I have learned through this experience and so many others that sometimes the best lunches can be leftovers. I always try to save a little from my creative and flavorful dinner or a wonderful restaurant experience for the next day lunch. Most have been great. This, however, was great. It was a simple and rewarding pleasure. I thank my darling daughter for every morsel!
